Video course production

Presenter-led training video, without the studio dependency.

Voctus produces presenter-led video courses for corporate L&D teams: a professional on-screen presenter delivers your material — scripted from your existing documents, narrated to native quality, packaged as SCORM for your LMS. First modules in days, and updates are re-rendered from the revised script rather than re-shot.

The problem this solves

Video training works. Video production is what doesn't scale.

A filmed course means studio bookings, presenter availability, and a budget that resets every time a policy changes. Most L&D teams respond by not filming — so the curriculum stays in slides, and delivery stays in classrooms that don't scale across sites or time zones. Production here works differently: the script is the asset. Once your reviewers approve it, presenter delivery, narration, and graphics are produced from it — and reproduced from it whenever the content moves.

What's included

Everything between your documents and a course in your LMS.

01

Instructional scripting

Your material restructured into lesson scripts built around explicit learning objectives — sequenced, paced for retention, and written for the ear rather than the slide. Your stakeholders approve every word before production begins.

02

Presenter & narration

A professional on-screen presenter with native-quality narration, consistent across the whole curriculum and across every language version you commission. Presenter selection is yours, from a curated roster.

03

Motion graphics & brand

Diagrams, lower-thirds, and on-screen text produced where they serve comprehension — in your brand's colors, type, and templates. Finished courses carry your identity, not ours.

04

Assessment & packaging

Knowledge checks embedded at the points the script earns them, then the whole module packaged to SCORM 1.2 or 2004 and tested before handover. Hosted delivery with equivalent tracking if you have no LMS.

Common questions, answered first

What L&D teams ask before commissioning video.

What does training video production cost?

Published market rates for custom training video run from roughly $83 per finished minute at the industry floor to $250+ per minute at US boutiques — we maintain a cited benchmark guide to the published numbers. Voctus prices per project, as a fixed statement of work scoped on your actual materials within one business day.

Does a digital presenter actually teach as well as a trainer?

For knowledge transfer, the published evidence says yes: a 2025 replication study in the Journal of Workplace Learning (N=561) found no significant difference in learning outcomes between digital and human presenters. Where human delivery still wins — coaching, facilitation, discussion — we recommend keeping it, and using produced video for the standardizable curriculum.

How do updates work after delivery?

You submit the changed content; we revise the script and re-render only the affected modules. Because no filming is involved, an update costs a fraction of the original module rather than a full re-production — which matters when training content goes stale within weeks of shipping.

Can the same course ship in several languages?

Yes — that is the system's strongest property. One approved master script produces every language version with the same presenter, pacing, and structure. See e-learning localization for how the 30+ language pipeline works.

Questions

Asked often. Answered directly.

Will a digital presenter feel synthetic to our learners?

Peer-reviewed research finds no significant difference in knowledge transfer between well-produced digital presenters and human trainers (Lind, Journal of Workplace Learning, 2025 — a replication with 561 participants). What moves outcomes is script quality, pacing, and instructional design, which is where our production effort concentrates. Evaluate it directly: we produce a sample minute from your own material before any commitment.

What do we need to provide?

Whatever you already have: slide decks, policy documents, manuals, recorded webinars, or simply access to a subject-matter expert for one structured interview. Materials in any state of polish are workable — restructuring them into teachable scripts is part of the service.

How long does production take?

First modules are typically delivered within five business days of script approval. The script stage itself runs one to two days for most source material. Multi-module curricula are delivered on a rolling schedule so deployment can begin before the full programme is finished.

What happens when the content changes?

Submit the change; we revise the script and re-render the affected modules. There are no re-shoots, studio bookings, or presenter scheduling dependencies — the cost of an update is proportional to the size of the change, not the length of the module.

Who owns the finished courses?

You do, in full — finished videos, source scripts, and packaged SCORM files transfer to you on payment. Nothing is licensed back to us and nothing is reused for other clients.
