Why it matters
English-language training underperforms in Indonesia — measurably
Indonesia ranks in the low-proficiency band of the EF English Proficiency Index, and reading skills run well ahead of listening — exactly the wrong profile for video training delivered in spoken English. A course your Jakarta head office follows comfortably loses the plant floor in Bekasi and the branch network outside Java. Localized delivery removes the comprehension tax, and for mandatory topics it also removes the audit-day argument about whether training in a foreign language counts as training at all.
Narration & register
Register: bahasa baku, addressed with "Anda"
Corporate training uses formal standard Indonesian (bahasa baku) with the respectful second person "Anda" — not the colloquial Jakarta register that dominates social media, and not the stiff bureaucratic register of government circulars. Loanwords are handled deliberately: established business terms (komputer, manajemen, kepatuhan vs. compliance) follow your organisation's internal usage, which we capture in a terminology list your reviewers approve with the script.

On-screen text behaves — with one planning note
Bahasa Indonesia uses unmodified Latin script, so fonts, line-breaking, and subtitle timing carry over cleanly from the English master. Translated text runs somewhat longer than English, so lower-thirds and dense slide layouts are checked and re-fitted per screen rather than squeezed. Dates, number formats, and currency (Rp) are localized as part of the pass.

Can the same course serve Indonesia and our other SEA offices?
Yes — that is the standard pattern. The approved master produces the Bahasa Indonesia version alongside Thai, Vietnamese, Mandarin, or any other language you operate in, with the same presenter and structure, so regional L&D manages one course rather than a per-country patchwork.
Who reviews the Indonesian version before release?
Your in-country reviewer, if you have one — we deliver the translated script for sign-off before narration is produced, mirroring the master-script gate. If you have no Indonesian reviewer, we provide independent second-linguist review.
Do you handle Indonesian regulatory training content?
We produce from your approved policy content, including Indonesia-specific material such as PDP Law (No. 27/2022) data-protection training. Your legal or compliance team owns the substance; we make it teachable and trackable.
